What to watch: MPL-PH Regular Season ends, and more

Dota 2 and PUBG Mobile SEA fans aren’t left out of the fun either.

Happy Ramadan to our dear Muslim friends! Even though we’re stuck at home during this celebration period, thanks to the digital landscape, there are now more ways to bask in the merriment with our family and friends while practising social distancing. The Regular Season of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Season 5 enters its sixth and final week today. With powerhouse teams ONIC PH and Bren Esports locking horns over the top spot, will they be able to maintain their top performances at the Playoffs and win the championship title? And who are the Top 8 teams that will advance to the Playoffs? All that will be answered this weekend.

MPL-PH S5 Regular Season Week 6 runs from today until Sunday (16 May), with all three match days starting at 6PM (GMT+8). The Playoffs will be held from 29 – 31 May. SEA Dota Invitational 2020

This is where the Dota 2 fun begins! The sole Vietnam Qualifier of the latest SEA Dota Invitational 2020 recently concluded, with the top two teams (The Boys and Impunity) advancing to the main tournament. Comprising the pair of qualifying teams and six other invited teams from Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia, a round-robin best-of-three group stage will kickstart the main event before proceeding to the double elimination Playoffs.

The SEA Dota Invitational 2020 group stage commences on 16 May up until 22 May, with the finale of the Playoffs happening from 23 – 24 May. For more info, click here.

Mineski Masters Series PUBG Mobile 2020

Organised by Mineski Esports Thailand, the Mineski Masters Series PUBG Mobile 2020 is a Thai-based competition split into three stages: qualifiers, semi-finals and finals. The two-day qualifiers will open with 256 squads battling it out for the top slots of their respective groups to qualify for the semi-finals, where the 16 qualified teams will face off against 16 other invited teams. With PMPL SEA Finals finalists ILLUMINATE The Murder, RRQ Athena, King of Gamers Club and Golden Cat as part of the lineup, expect intense gunfights that’ll shake you to the core.

The qualifiers will be held from 16 – 17 May, followed by the semi-finals on 23 and 24 May until finally, the epic finale from 30 – 31 May. More details can be found right here.
