The Malaysian digital telco will sponsor two PUBG Mobile tournaments and their own all-new esports fighting tournament.
It’s always #goodvibes when it comes to birthdays, and Yoodo’s second anniversary is no exception to the universal rule – the fully-customisable digital telco recently revealed 20 updates regarding its new branding, along with promotions, new products, active sports and last but definitely not least, its ever-growing involvement in esports.
Chief among these announcements, is that Yoodo will be sponsoring and managing this year’s PUBG Mobile National Championship (PMNC) and PUBG Mobile Campus Championship (PMCC), much to the joy PUBG Mobile esports fans. But that’s not it: the Malaysian company will also be sponsoring their very own esports fighting competition, the Yoodo FV Major 2020, making its debut sometime this year. Looks like Yoodo will be having an action-packed second year ahead!
Yoodo has been in the esports scene for a while now. With sponsorship for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League – Malaysia/Singapore (MPL MY/SG) Season 5 and ESL MY Championship 2020 – Call of Duty: Mobile Season 1, the telco even has their own professional PUBG Mobile esports team, Yoodo Gank, who are top dogs in the now-delayed PUBG Mobile Professional League Malaysia/Singapore (PMPL MY/SG).
More details on the upcoming Yoodo-sponsored esports tournaments will be released soon.
