If you’re a fan of the Call of Duty: Mobile esports scene, then the COD Mobile Garena Invitational (CGI 2021) is one tournament that would be deemed too sinful to miss. The CGI 2021 will be pitting the top eight teams across six regions – Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau – to battle for bragging rights as the best COD Mobile professional team in the Asian region.

Here are the eight teams that will be competing in the COD Mobile tournament:

  • Indonesia – DG ESPORTS
  • Malaysia – Yoodo RSG
  • Philippines – NRX Jeremiah 29:11
  • Philippines – NU Anarchy
  • Singapore – ALMGHTY
  • Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau – Raptors.DNS
  • Thailand – Astro.1s1k
  • Thailand – Sharper Esport

CGI 2021 is divided into two stages: the Group Stage and Elimination Stage. The former will run for two weeks every Fridays to Sundays (19 – 21 March and 26 – 28 March), with all eight teams battling in a round-robin format; three games will be played in every match.

Then, the top six squads will progress to the two-day Elimination Stage (3 – 4 April), switching to a double-elimination and best-of-five format. The top two teams will be slotted into the upper bracket, with the remaining teams moved to the lower bracket.

Catch CGI 2021 tonight at 7PM (GMT +8) LIVE on the official COD Mobile Facebook and YouTube pages. The event schedule and information will be available on the aforementioned pages, as well as Instagram.
