Monster Hunter Wilds Weapon 角色排行榜 — Title Update 1
Welcome to egg.network's Monster Hunter Wilds weapon 角色排行榜. We rank all 14 weapon types based on their speedrun potential, ease of use, and effectiveness across the full roster of large monsters. Monster Hunter has always been a game where every weapon is viable, so keep in mind that tier placement reflects optimization potential rather than necessity — a skilled Lance player will outperform a sloppy Great Sword player every time.
Ranking Criteria
Weapons are evaluated on damage per second during realistic hunt conditions, not just training dummy numbers. We consider motion values, elemental application, the new Focus Strike mechanic integration, mounting and wound exploitation, defensive options, and how well each weapon leverages the Seikret mount combat system introduced in Wilds. 多人模式 utility also factors in — weapons that provide team buffs or consistent flinch/stagger contributions 评分 higher.
Title Update 1 Meta
The Focus Strike system has been a game-changer for weapons with big commitment attacks. Great Sword is the biggest winner — its Focus Strike True Charged Slash deals absurd damage and the wound system lets GS players create their own openings more reliably than ever. Light Bowgun's rapid-fire elemental builds dominate speedruns thanks to excellent wound exploitation and safe positioning. Charge Blade's SAED spam remains devastating, and its Focus Strike guard point transitions add a satisfying new layer of aggressive play. Long Sword's counter-heavy playstyle translates perfectly into Focus Strike timing windows, keeping it firmly in A-tier. Dual Blades benefit enormously from the elemental damage buffs in Wilds and their Seikret mount attacks chain seamlessly. The ranged weapons (Bow and HBG) remain 强 but are balanced by the increased monster aggression in Wilds that punishes static positioning. Lance and Gunlance sit in C-tier not because they're bad — their defensive tools are excellent — but because their damage ceiling lags behind in a meta that rewards aggressive play and Focus Strike optimization.
