Intel 近期最怪的 gaming CPU 故事又更有料了。Core 9 273PQE 這顆 Bartlett Lake 晶片，甚至不是面向一般 desktop 買家的產品，據報在幾款 title 裡展現出比 Core i9-14900K 更好的 gaming performance。
這聽起來很 spicy，尤其如果你是那種還守著 LGA 1700 setup、一直在想是不是還藏著最後一條 upgrade path 的馬來西亞 PC kaki。但在大家開始去 Shopee、Lazada 或 Taobao 找 listing 之前，這顆 chip 其實有很多 caveat。
Core 9 273PQE 有什麼不同？
Core 9 273PQE 是 Intel Bartlett Lake lineup 的一部分，目標是 embedded segment，而不是一般 consumer。這裡最關鍵的細節是，這個 particular model 是一顆 12 P-core-only chip。
這跟 Core i9-14900K 很不一樣，後者使用 Intel 的 hybrid setup，配有 8 個 Performance cores 和 16 個 Efficient cores。兩顆 chip 都連到更大的 LGA 1700 ecosystem，而 Bartlett Lake 使用 Raptor Cove Performance cores，但一般 mainstream motherboard 並不 officially support 這些 P-core-only CPUs，因為 Intel 沒有為它們提供 standard BIOS。
簡單講：對，socket connection 技術上確實很有趣。不，這不是你平時 gaming motherboard 可以 plug-and-play 的 upgrade。
Gaming results 其實不差
根據德國 YouTuber Zed Up 的測試，Core 9 273PQE 成功與 Core i9-14900K 在多款遊戲中進行比較。據報 Bartlett Lake chip 在 Outcast 1.1 和 Shadow of the Tomb Raider 等 titles 中最高領先 9%。
其他遊戲，包括 Horizon Zero Dawn 和 Monster Hunter Wilds，似乎也顯示 273PQE 有較小但仍然明顯的 5-6% FPS 優勢。這代表額外的 Performance cores 在某些 gaming workloads 中確實能幫上忙，即使 14900K 在 paper specs 上依然是 monster CPU。
但這不是全面橫掃。Counter-Strike 2 和 Rainbow Six Siege 沒有展現同樣優勢，這點很重要，因為這些正是很多 SEA gamers 真正在意的 esports titles。如果你的主要 grind 是 CS2、Valorant-style shooters，或那種 latency 和 engine behaviour 比 raw core count 更重要的 competitive FPS，這顆 chip 並不會突然變成 magic upgrade。
為什麼馬來西亞 PC builders 應該關注，但不要 overreact
對 Malaysia 和 SEA 來說，最大 takeaway 不是每個人都應該去買 Core 9 273PQE。真正重點是 Intel 這種 P-core-heavy design 在 gaming 上依然有料，尤其是在能受益於更強 high-performance cores 的 titles。
話雖如此，value 在這裡很重要。Core 9 273PQE 沒有正常的 Malaysia retail pricing，而且因為它是 embedded-focused part，要入手大概會牽涉 niche sellers、imported stock、custom BIOS work，以及額外風險。把這些全部算進去之後，total platform cost 很可能比直接買正常 14th Gen Intel setup，或轉去另一個 mainstream gaming platform 還糟。
對大多數 local builders 來說，Core i5、Core i7、Ryzen 7 X3D，或 discounted 14th Gen chip 依然更合理。你會有 proper motherboard support、更容易處理 warranty，而且出事時少很多 headache。
很酷的 experiment，但不是正常 upgrade path
Core 9 273PQE 是個有趣提醒：CPU architecture 依然可以給我們驚喜。一顆 12 P-core-only Intel chip 在部分遊戲打贏 i9-14900K，真的很有意思，尤其對那些愛玩 unsupported platforms 的 hardware nerds 來說。
但對日常馬來西亞 gamers 來說，這更像是一個「wah，cool benchmark」的故事，而不是 buying recommendation。除非 Intel 真的把類似產品帶進 consumer market，並提供 proper board support 和合理 pricing，273PQE 會繼續停留在 enthusiast lab material，而不是你下一顆實用 gaming CPU。
