BLEACH x LAM Pop-Up Brings New Soul Art Showcase to Tokyo and Osaka

BLEACH fans, this one is dangerous for the wallet.

A new limited-time collaboration between Tite Kubo’s BLEACH and illustrator LAM is opening in Japan under the title “BLEACH × LAM -SOUL ART SHOWCASE-”. The pop-up begins in Tokyo at SHIBUYA SACS from April 24 to April 26, 2026, before moving to Osaka’s i GALLERY OSAKA from May 1 to May 10, 2026.

For Malaysian and SEA fans, yes — this is Japan-only for now. But if you are already planning a Tokyo or Osaka trip around Golden Week, this is the kind of anime stop that can easily turn into the highlight of the itinerary. BLEACH merch with fresh art usually disappears fast, and collaborations like this tend to become painful resale listings later. You know how it goes lah.

The big pull here is the artwork. LAM, who has previously shared that BLEACH was a major influence, created new illustrations for the showcase. The featured characters include Ichigo Kurosaki, Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, Riruka Dokugamine, Yoruichi Shihouin, and Soi Fon.

That lineup is pretty smart. It is not just the safest main-character-only selection. You get Ichigo, obviously, but also Grimmjow for the Arrancar fans, Riruka for the Fullbring crowd, and two of the coolest women in the series with Yoruichi and Soi Fon. If LAM’s sharp, colour-heavy style hits the way fans expect, these pieces should look sick as display art.

Merchandise using the new visuals will be sold at the venues. The announced items include acrylic stands, stickers, clear files, and can badges. No Malaysia pricing was listed in the source material, so local fans eyeing imports will need to wait for proxy shops, second-hand listings, or official online options if any appear later.

There is also extra content for fans who enjoy the creative side of BLEACH. The official showcase website includes a discussion between Tite Kubo and LAM, focusing on BLEACH and the collaboration. More material, including audio from the conversation, is available through Kubo’s official fan club Klub Outside, though some of it is limited to members.

The timing is also very spicy. This pop-up lands as BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War heads toward its final part, with Part 4 set for July. Kubo has already confirmed that the final part will contain even more original anime material than the earlier parts, expanding the manga’s endgame battles. The first three episodes are also planned for an early theatrical release in the US.

For SEA anime fans who came back to BLEACH through Thousand-Year Blood War, this showcase is another sign that the franchise is still moving with serious momentum. Between the anime’s final stretch and art collaborations like this, BLEACH is not just riding nostalgia — it is actively rebuilding its modern fan presence.

Now we just need someone to bring a proper BLEACH showcase to Malaysia. KL pop-up when?
