Dead by Daylight’s Attack on Titan Crossover Returns With New Skins and 2v8 Mode

Dead by Daylight is going anime again, bro. Behaviour is bringing back its Attack on Titan crossover in April 2026, giving players another shot at anime-inspired outfits, new Quest rewards, and the return of the chaotic 2v8 mode.

The crossover comes back across all versions of Dead by Daylight starting April 28, 2026, and will run until May 19, 2026. That means players on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC can all jump in.

New Attack on Titan Outfits Are Coming

This comeback is mainly for fans who missed the earlier Attack on Titan drop, but Behaviour is also adding fresh cosmetics based on the anime. The new outfits include:

  • Cleaning Levi Ackerman for Jake Park — Very Rare
  • Mikasa Ackerman’s Dark Uniform for Yui Kimura — Very Rare
  • Sasha Braus’ Uniform for Thalita Lyra — Very Rare

That Cleaning Levi skin is honestly a funny pick, because it taps into one of the most meme-able sides of Levi instead of just going full Survey Corps drip again. For Attack on Titan fans in Malaysia and SEA, this is the kind of crossover that hits both crowds: the anime kaki who just want their favourite characters represented, and the Dead by Daylight grinders who care about flexing limited-time cosmetics in lobbies.

There will also be anime-themed Quest rewards, including a badge, banner, and charm. Nothing too massive, but if you like keeping your profile looking clean, these event rewards are the sort of thing you’ll regret skipping later.

2v8 Mode Is Also Back

The bigger gameplay news is the return of 2v8 mode. Instead of the usual one Killer versus four Survivors setup, this mode doubles the pressure with two Killers hunting eight Survivors. It is messy, loud, and very easy for your Discord call to turn into pure screaming — which, to be fair, is half the fun.

This time, two additional maps will support 2v8: Ironworks of Misery and Temple of Purgation. Behaviour is also adjusting the Cage system, with changes to relocation timing and bleed out pauses to make matches feel fairer.

There are Killer-specific balance tweaks too. The Oni’s uptime is being reduced after he takes out a Survivor, while The Deathslinger will have lighter penalties around reloading and missed shots. In plain English: Behaviour is trying to make the mode less snowbally while still letting Killers feel dangerous.

For SEA players, 2v8 is probably the best excuse to reinstall or squad up again. Dead by Daylight can be sweaty in regular matchmaking, but 2v8 has that party-mode energy that works well when you have a group of friends online at night. More players per match also means more chaos, more bad calls, and more “why you bring Killer to me lah?” moments.

Previous Attack on Titan Cosmetics May Also Matter

Behaviour also highlighted older Attack on Titan-inspired outfits from the previous crossover, including Eren Jaeger’s Uniform for Dwight Fairfield, Levi Ackerman’s Uniform for Jake Park, Mikasa Ackerman’s Uniform for Yui Kimura, Annie Leonhart’s Uniform for Meg Thomas, Armin Arlert’s Uniform for Felix Richter, and Titan-inspired Killer skins like Armored Titan for The Oni and War Hammer Titan for The Spirit.

Dead by Daylight is available now on PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. The Attack on Titan crossover returns from April 28 to May 19, 2026.
