FFVII Ever Crisis Drops Dress Wallpapers for Aerith, Cloud and Tifa

Square Enix has dropped a fresh batch of official Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis wallpapers, and this one is very much for the Wall Market enjoyers.

The new images feature Aerith, Cloud, and Tifa wearing their Corneo Cup dress outfits, released to mark the ongoing Corneo Cup: Open Bridal Audition event. That event is currently running in FFVII Ever Crisis until May 27, 2026, so if you are still farming or thinking about pulling, the clock is already ticking.

For Malaysian and SEA players, this is the usual gacha dilemma: nice limited-time cosmetics, event weapons on banners, and not enough currency unless you have been saving properly. The wallpapers themselves are free promo goodies, but the actual outfits and their related weapons are available through the current in-game banners.

What wallpapers are included?

Square Enix split the wallpaper drop into a few different styles.

Some of them are based on the in-game home screen backgrounds, showing the characters in their event dresses. One version puts Aerith and Tifa together, with Aerith wearing her Gorgeous Dress and Tifa in her Elegant Dress, also known as the Mature Dress. Another focuses on Cloud in the Classic Dress, the outfit connected to the Chocobo Sam route from Final Fantasy VII Remake.

There are also original wallpaper designs using official character art rather than only the home screen-style visuals. For mobile users, Square Enix prepared versions featuring the characters individually, plus a group version with all three together.

That mobile focus makes sense, lah. Ever Crisis is still very much a phone-first game for many SEA fans, even though it is also on PC. These wallpapers are basically perfect lock screen material for anyone who wants FFVII on their phone without using a random cropped screenshot from Google Images.

Why this matters for FFVII fans

The Corneo dress sequence is one of those FFVII moments that refuses to die, in a good way. The original game made it iconic, FFVII Remake turned it into a full-on production, and now Ever Crisis is using it as event fuel. It is fan service, sure, but it is the kind that actually connects back to a memorable part of the series.

For newer players who only jumped in through Remake or mobile, this event is also a reminder that Ever Crisis is not just retelling the same story beats. Square Enix keeps using it as a place to remix costumes, side content, and crossover-style events around the wider FFVII timeline.

What is next for Ever Crisis?

Square Enix has not announced the next FFVII Ever Crisis event or crossover yet.

The recent schedule gives a few hints, though nothing confirmed. In April 2026, the game brought back Final Fantasy XIII items. Before that, Ever Crisis continued its Dirge of Cerberus storyline with a second part, so a third chapter could be one of the next things fans watch for.

For now, the main thing is simple: if you want the Corneo Cup rewards, dress banners, or just want to save the official wallpapers, do it before the event wraps.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is available on PC and mobile devices. Final Fantasy VII Remake is available on Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
