First Stage Production fans can breathe a bit easier — at least if you mainly follow the English side.
The agency’s EN branch has clarified that it will keep running as usual even though First Stage Production Japan is shutting down on June 30, 2026. According to the EN-side statement, the English branch operates independently, so its Vtubers, content schedules, projects, and future plans are not being disrupted by the Japanese branch closure.
That matters quite a lot for Malaysia and SEA fans, because English-language Vtubers are often the easiest entry point into the scene. Not everyone here follows JP streams live or understands enough Japanese for zatsudan, lore drops, or membership content. EN talents also tend to hit friendlier time zones for SEA viewers compared to US-heavy creators, so a branch staying active means the fanbase here does not suddenly lose a whole chunk of weekly streams.
The update came shortly after Reality announced that the Japanese branch would be closing. While June 30, 2026 is the final date for that side of the agency, some Vtubers may stop activities before then. The confirmed graduation list includes Colonel Mofuchu, Himemiya Honoka, Hoshikage Tetra, Kurosaki Taiga, Nyapupu Marina, Perfect Bomber, and Ryugahama Yue.
Not everyone from the Japanese side is fully leaving the wider Reality ecosystem, though. Mochituke Nullpo, Nilim Snowmelt, Tsukigami Len, and Yu Yu Yura are set to remain active with Reality. Meanwhile, Hinomiya Himari, Namiyoi Kanade, Ruru Rara Rily, and Shikimori Kotori will continue independently together under Sorabin.
For the EN side, the message is basically: please do not drag the current talents into the situation. First Stage Production EN expressed sympathy over what is happening with the Japanese branch and asked fans not to question its English performers about the closure out of respect for them. Fair request, honestly. Talents are not customer-service counters for corporate restructuring, bro.
There is also still expansion happening. First Stage Production EN confirmed that a fourth generation is in development, although it has not revealed the new lineup yet. The previous audition window ran from March 6 to April 12, 2026. Teaser art connected to the upcoming group showed five figures, which suggests another five-member debut wave. That would also match the agency’s previous EN generations, which each launched with five performers.
The current First Stage Production EN roster includes Avallum from the first generation: Cassian Floros, Gale Galleon, Lucien Lunaris, Rosco Graves, and Zander Netherbrand.
The second generation, Ravanis, consists of Altus Zendoji, Malim Cendari, Nayuta Umbrage, and Ryzar Blazenfang.
The third generation, Lamentus, includes Ashkariel, Caelen Strayfe, Elias Delborne, Liron Lockheart, and Shiki Katagami.
For Malaysian Vtuber fans, the practical takeaway is simple: if your oshis are on the EN branch, nothing has changed for now. Streams, projects, and plans are still moving. The sad part is on the Japan branch side, where graduations and transitions are coming. Expect fan communities to be noisy over the next few weeks, but for EN viewers, the agency is clearly trying to keep things stable.
