Full Clearing Another World Under a Goddess With Zero Believers Is Ending With Its Next Novel

Another long-running isekai title is heading into its final stretch. Isle Osaki’s Full Clearing Another World under a Goddess with Zero Believers has confirmed that the light novel series will end with its next volume.

The announcement was made through the series’ 13th volume, which was released in Japan on April 20. That means the upcoming volume will serve as the finale for the story, closing the book on a series that has been running since 2018.

For fans who know it by the Japanese title, this is Shinja Zero no Megami-sama to Hajimeru Isekai Kōryaku. It is also known by the English-style title Clear the World Like a Game With the Zero Believers Goddess — which already tells you the vibe pretty clearly: RPG mechanics, underdog progression, and a goddess who badly needs someone on her side.

What is the story about?

The series follows Makoto, who ends up connected to Noah, a minor goddess with basically no believers. Noah appears to him in dreams and asks Makoto to become her first follower.

From there, Makoto’s journey becomes a hardcore RPG-style climb. With Noah’s blessing and a divine weapon, he trains, experiments with weak skills, and tries to grow strong enough to save his goddess, who is trapped inside a dungeon.

That setup is probably why the series clicked with isekai fans in the first place. It is not just another “overpowered hero walks in and deletes everyone” story. The appeal is more about gaming the system, using weak abilities creatively, and treating the fantasy world like a punishing RPG run.

For Malaysian and SEA anime fans, that angle is very familiar. We love our grind-heavy RPGs, gacha optimisation, weird builds, and “bro trust me this skill is secretly broken” moments. This series sits right in that zone.

From web novel to light novel, manga, and anime

Osaki first launched the story on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in May 2018, before Overlap Bunko began publishing the light novel version in March 2019.

The franchise also has a manga adaptation by Shiroi, which started on Comic Gardo in April 2020. The manga currently has 10 volumes.

On the English side, J-Novel Club has licensed both the original novels and the manga adaptation. J-Novel Club released the 12th novel volume in English in October 2024, so international readers are already fairly close to the Japanese release timeline.

That matters for SEA fans because J-Novel Club remains one of the more accessible legal ways to follow English light novel releases without waiting forever. If you are the type who reads digitally and keeps up with isekai series outside anime seasons, this is the one to watch before the finale lands.

Why the ending matters

A confirmed ending is honestly good news for readers. Isekai series can sometimes run forever until the plot gets messy, so knowing that Full Clearing Another World under a Goddess with Zero Believers is moving toward a proper conclusion gives fans a reason to catch up now.

It also helps that the series is getting an anime adaptation. With the novels approaching the finish line, the anime will arrive with a complete source story either already done or nearly done. That usually gives production teams and fans a clearer sense of where the journey is heading.

No final-volume release date was included in the announcement, so for now, fans will have to wait for the next update from Overlap Bunko or the publisher side.

Still, if you enjoy isekai stories with RPG logic, underdog builds, and goddess-related chaos, this is a good time to put the series on your radar.
