Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto Are Getting New Nendoroids

Good Smile Company is adding two more Vocaloid-adjacent icons to the Nendoroid shelf, and yeah, figure collectors are going to feel this one in the wallet.

The company has announced release windows for two upcoming figures: Pierretta Hatsune Miku and Voicepeak Kasane Teto. Both are headed to Japan first in 2026, before getting wider international releases in 2027.

For Miku fans, the Pierretta version is scheduled to launch in Japan in September 2026, followed by a worldwide release in Q1 2027. It is priced at ¥8,000 / US$46.99.

Kasane Teto’s Voicepeak Nendoroid comes slightly later. She is planned for Japan in October 2026, with the worldwide release set for Q2 2027. Her price is a bit lower at ¥7,800 / US$45.99.

For Malaysian collectors, that puts both figures roughly in the RM220–RM250 range before shipping, tax, or local shop markups, depending on exchange rates. So if you usually order through hobby stores, proxies, or official global channels, expect the final damage to be higher once delivery is included. Pain, but standard Nendoroid life lah.

Pierretta Miku is a Project Diva deep cut

The Pierretta Hatsune Miku figure is based on a module costume from the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva games. This version of Miku wears a red, black, and white outfit with a matching hat, giving her a more theatrical stage-performer vibe compared to the usual turquoise twin-tail look everyone knows.

Good Smile is also packing in accessories that tie back to the song “Cat Food.” Miku comes with a microphone for performance poses, plus a small cat accessory as a nod to the track. Her three face plates include a singing expression, a smiling face, and a closed-eyes look.

If you played Project Diva or even watched arcade gameplay clips back in the day, this is one of those designs that hits the nostalgia button. For SEA fans, especially the rhythm game crowd who grew up with Project Diva on PSP, PS Vita, PS4, or arcade cabinets overseas, this is not just “another Miku figure.” It is a very specific era of Vocaloid fandom getting turned into a desk-sized collectible.

Kasane Teto gets her Voicepeak version

The other new release is Voicepeak Kasane Teto, based on the text-to-speech software that uses her voice. Instead of going for a music performance theme like Miku, this Nendoroid leans into the speaking and voice expression side of the character.

Her three face plates are themed around different tones: “whisper,” “low,” and “high.” She also includes a transceiver accessory, so collectors can pose her as if she is speaking into it.

Teto has always had a slightly different fan energy from Miku. She started from a more internet-native space, and over the years became a cult favourite among Vocaloid, UTAU, and voice-synth fans. Seeing her Voicepeak design get a Nendoroid feels like a nice win for the fans who follow the broader vocal-synth scene beyond just the biggest names.

Pre-orders are already open

Both figures are now available for pre-order, with the order window closing on June 3, 2026.

The main thing Malaysian and SEA collectors should watch is timing. Japan releases are happening in late 2026, but the worldwide versions only arrive in the first half of 2027. If you want them faster, importing from Japan may be tempting, but shipping costs can be brutal. If you are okay waiting, local or regional pre-orders might be the safer route.

Either way, if your shelf already has Miku, Teto, or Project Diva merch, these two are very dangerous additions. Cute, specific, and just niche enough to make fans panic-buy before the deadline.
