Sega is giving Honkai: Star Rail fans another reason to stare at their merch budget and whisper, “habis lah.” New Mirucco Series plushies of Boothill and Sparxie have opened for pre-order in Japan, with both planned for release in early 2027.
The plushies are being sold through Japan anime goods retailers such as Animate and Animon. Siliconera also notes that similar items have previously appeared on Amazon, so there is a chance these could become easier to find later through wider import routes.
For Malaysian and SEA collectors, that part matters. Right now, this looks like a Japan-first merch drop, which usually means we’re looking at proxy shipping, import stores, or local anime hobby shops bringing in limited allocations. If you collect HoYoverse goods, you already know the drill: the item price is only step one, then shipping and markup come in with a follow-up attack.
Each plush is priced at 6,800 yen, which Siliconera lists as around US$43.10. In Malaysia terms, that is roughly around the RM200 range before shipping, tax, proxy fees, or reseller markup. So yes, cute cowboy plush, but not exactly pasar malam pricing.
The two plushies are designed as display pieces that can sit on a shelf. Both are around 16cm tall, though Sparxie takes up more horizontal space because of her oversized pigtails. Boothill gets a neat extra detail too: his hat can be removed. That should make him slightly more fun for collectors who like posing or changing up shelf displays.
Release timing is split between the two characters. Boothill is scheduled to launch first in January 2027, while Sparxie follows in February 2027. Both will be sold in Japan through shops that carry anime-related merchandise.
If you’re newer to Honkai: Star Rail, Boothill is a 5-star Physical Hunt character who joined the game in 2024. He is the cyborg cowboy from the Galaxy Rangers, and his whole space-western vibe makes him one of the more visually distinct characters in the roster. His plush version leaning into that hat detail is honestly the correct choice.
Sparxie, meanwhile, is also a 5-star character, but she is tied to Fire Elation. She debuted as a playable character in 2026 as part of the game’s newest Path. She is connected to Sparkle, who also first appeared in Penacony, and the plush appears to echo the Sparxie design seen at the beginning of her trailer, especially with the similar facial expression and overall look.
For SEA fans, this is one of those merch drops where it pays to decide early. HoYoverse character goods can become annoying to hunt down after the first wave, especially if local import shops only bring in small batches. Boothill fans in particular may want to keep an eye on Japan pre-order windows, while Sparxie collectors have a little more time before her February release.
