Tamamushi Oku’s yuri harem manga I Don’t Know Which Is Love is officially moving into endgame.
The creator shared on Monday that the series will wrap up with its eighth compiled volume. Oku also showed off the cover for volume 7, which is scheduled to release in Japan on May 27.
For readers who have been following Mei Soraike’s chaotic post-heartbreak romance journey, this means the next stretch is not just another round of cute yuri confusion — it is the road to the finale.
What is I Don’t Know Which Is Love about?
The manga follows Mei Soraike, a girl who reaches the end of high school carrying a long-time crush on her best friend. She tries to confess before graduation, but things do not go the way she hopes.
Instead of giving up on love completely, Mei decides college will be her fresh start. Her new mission is simple: get a girlfriend. Of course, because this is a yuri harem setup, potential love interests begin appearing around her one after another, turning her romantic reset into something much messier and more entertaining.
That premise has always been the hook: not just “will Mei find love?”, but “which connection is actually love?” The title itself makes that question the whole game.
Why Malaysian and SEA manga fans should care
For yuri manga fans in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, this is one of those updates that matters if you prefer starting a series once the ending is already in sight. Banyak readers memang takut kena stuck with manga that goes on forever or quietly disappears, so knowing I Don’t Know Which Is Love is ending at volume 8 makes it a much easier pickup.
It is also useful for collectors. Since Yen Press publishes the manga in English, Malaysian fans who buy through Kinokuniya, local comic shops, Shopee import sellers, Amazon, or other online bookstores can plan around a relatively short series. Eight volumes is very manageable compared to long-running romance titles that can become expensive fast.
Yuri manga has been steadily getting more visibility among English-reading fans in SEA, especially as anime and manga communities become more open about niche romance genres. A completed, compact yuri harem rom-com like this could be a solid recommendation for readers who want something playful, dramatic, and not too intimidating to collect.
Publication history
Oku launched I Don’t Know Which Is Love in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Cune magazine in August 2021. Kadokawa released the first compiled volume in April 2022, followed by the sixth volume in September 2025.
The upcoming seventh volume will now act as the setup for the final book, with volume 8 closing Mei’s college romance scramble.
Oku is also known to English-language yuri fans through other works published by Yen Press, including Cheerful Amnesia, Éclair Blanche, and Whenever Our Eyes Meet....
No English release date for the final volume was mentioned in the source report, so SEA readers collecting the Yen Press edition will need to wait for the publisher’s schedule.
