Netflix is turning KPop Demon Hunters into a real-world concert experience, and yes bro, this one sounds like it could be massive if SEA gets dates.

Netflix and AEG Presents have announced an official KPop Demon Hunters global concert tour, bringing the animated film’s music and stage energy into arenas around the world. Exact cities, dates, and ticket details have not been revealed yet, but fans can already join the official waitlist before announcements arrive later this year.

The live show is being positioned as an immersive concert adaptation of the film’s performance scenes. According to Netflix, the tour will try to capture the Honmoon energy from the movie, especially the big stage moments built around fictional K-pop girl group HUNTR/X.

For Malaysian and SEA fans, the big question is obvious: will this tour stop anywhere near us? No Southeast Asian cities have been confirmed at the time of writing, but a production like this has clear potential for markets like Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Manila. K-pop concerts already move serious crowds in the region, and anime-adjacent events have been growing fast across SEA. If Netflix and AEG want loud fans, packed arenas, and people who actually know every lyric, this region is right there.

KPop Demon Hunters has become one of Netflix’s biggest animated wins since launching in June 2025. The film reportedly crossed 500 million global views, while its soundtrack became one of 2025’s major music releases. HUNTR/X also made chart history through the movie’s music campaign, becoming the first K-pop girl group to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The awards run was just as gila. The movie won two Academy Awards at the 2026 Oscars, taking Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for Golden. That same track also became the first K-pop song to win Best Song Written for Visual Media at the Grammys.

Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, KPop Demon Hunters follows Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, the members of chart-topping group HUNTR/X. On stage, they are global idols. Off stage, they secretly battle demonic threats. Their biggest problem arrives when a rival boy band turns out to be demons hiding in plain sight.

The voice cast includes Arden Cho, May Hong, Ji-young Yoo, and Ahn Hyo-seop. A sequel has also been announced, so this concert tour feels less like a one-off promo stunt and more like Netflix building KPop Demon Hunters into a proper franchise.

For now, fans should keep an eye on the waitlist and future city reveals. If KL or Singapore lands a date, expect tickets to disappear fast — this has the exact mix of anime fandom, K-pop energy, and cinematic spectacle that SEA audiences love.
