The upcoming TV anime adaptation of The Oblivious Saint Can't Contain Her Power has dropped fresh details, and fantasy anime fans should probably keep this one on the Summer 2026 radar.
The official website for the series released its second promotional video on Friday, confirming two more cast members and previewing the ending theme song. The new additions are Shunichi Toki as Theodore and Inori Minase as Melissa.
That Inori Minase name alone will make some anime fans perk up, no cap. She has the kind of voice-acting pull that can instantly put a character on people's watchlists, especially for viewers who follow seiyuu casts closely.
Ending theme previewed in new promo video
The second promo video also gives fans a first listen to the ending theme, "Unknown Me" by Utahime Dream All Stars.
Meanwhile, musical artist Kaya is performing the opening theme song, "Windmaker".
For a fantasy light novel adaptation, theme songs matter more than people sometimes admit. A strong OP/ED can help a seasonal anime cut through the noise, especially when Malaysian and SEA viewers are already juggling multiple simulcasts every week. If the music lands, this could become one of those shows that gets shared around anime TikTok and Discord before people even finish episode one.
Staff and studio details
The anime is being directed by Mitsutaka Noshitani, known for work including The Strongest Tank's Labyrinth Raids, at Magic Bus and Picante Circus.
Series scripts are handled by Tōko Machida, whose credits include Wash It All Away, Yaiba: Samurai Legend, and My Friend's Little Sister Has It In for Me!. Character designs are by Taihei Nagai, who also worked on The Strongest Tank's Labyrinth Raids. Music is composed by SUPA LOVE, with past credits including Demon Lord, Retry! R, Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It, and Dropkick on My Devil! X.
The show is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan in July 2026 on TOKYO MX, BS11, and AT-X.
Why Malaysian and SEA anime fans should care
For local anime fans, the big question is still the usual one: where will it stream? This update confirms the Japanese broadcast window and channels, but it does not list a Malaysia or SEA streaming platform yet.
Still, this is worth watching because the source material is already accessible in English. J-Novel Club publishes both the original light novel series and Yona Etou's manga adaptation in English, which means fans here do not need to wait blindly for the anime to understand what the series is about or whether its fantasy setup is their kind of vibe.
The original story was written by Almond with illustrations by Yoshiro Ambe. It first appeared on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website before being removed in May 2022. Earth Star Entertainment later published the print version starting in June 2021, with the fourth and final volume released in June 2023. J-Novel Club has already released the full light novel series in English.
The manga adaptation by Yona Etou launched on Comic Earth Star in April 2022 and is still ongoing.
So if you are the type who likes checking the source before the anime lands, this one is easy to jump into. July 2026 is still a bit away, but with more cast now confirmed and the theme songs taking shape, The Oblivious Saint Can't Contain Her Power is slowly moving from “random fantasy title” into “okay, maybe we should keep an eye on this.”
