Fantasy romance fans, keep this one on the Summer 2026 radar. Mujikaku Seijo wa Kyou mo Muishiki ni Chikara wo Tare Nagasu, officially known in English as The Oblivious Saint Can't Contain Her Power, has dropped a new batch of updates ahead of its July 2026 TV anime premiere.
The anime's official site revealed a second promotional video, a new key visual, extra cast members, and the ending theme details. The series is scheduled to air in Japan on Tokyo MX, BS11, and AT-X starting July 2026.
New Cast Joins the Fantasy Romance Line-up
Two more voice actors have been added to the cast:
- Shunichi Toki as Theodore Garcia
- Inori Minase as Marissa Kissinger
That second name alone should catch some attention. Inori Minase has a pretty strong fanbase among anime viewers, and for Malaysian fans who follow seiyuu culture closely, her casting gives this adaptation a little extra pull beyond the usual light novel crowd.
Ending Theme Previewed in PV 2
The ending song is titled "Unknown Me" and will be performed by Utahime Dream All Stars. The track is also featured in the newly released second promo video, giving fans their first taste of the show's ending-theme mood.
For a fantasy romance series like this, the ED can do a lot of heavy lifting. If the anime leans more into emotional character drama rather than pure magic spectacle, this is probably where the softer side of the show will come through.
Who's Making the Anime?
The anime is being directed by Mitsutaka Noshitani at Magic Bus and Picante Circus. Touko Machida is in charge of series composition, while Taihei Nagai is handling character designs. Music is being composed by SUPA LOVE.
The setup sounds very much like a classic light novel fantasy romance package: magical power, noble society energy, character misunderstandings, and probably a lot of emotionally dense moments where the main character has no idea how powerful she really is. In other words, exactly the type of thing that tends to find a comfy audience on streaming once the season starts.
From Web Novel to Light Novel, Manga, and Now Anime
The original story was written by Almond and first ran on Shousetsuka ni Narou from July 2020 to May 2022. Earth Star Entertainment later published the light novel version in four volumes, with illustrations by Yoshiro Ambe, between June 2021 and June 2023.
There is also a manga adaptation by Yona Etou, which began on the Comic Earth☆Star website in April 2022. Its seventh volume shipped in Japan on October 10.
Good news for English-reading fans in Malaysia and SEA: J-Novel Club has licensed both the light novel and manga digitally in English. The fourth and final light novel volume was released in October 2024, while the sixth manga volume shipped in December 2025.
Why SEA Fans Should Watch This One
No Malaysia or SEA streaming platform has been announced yet, so we still need to wait and see whether it lands on the usual legal anime platforms for our region. But because the source material already has an English digital release, this is easier to sample early compared to many niche fantasy romance titles.
If you're into series like villainess-adjacent fantasy romances, saintess stories, or magic-noble drama with a softer emotional core, The Oblivious Saint Can't Contain Her Power could be one of those low-key Summer 2026 shows that quietly builds a loyal fanbase.
