Good Smile Company is bringing back two Umamusume: Pretty Derby Nendoroids that collectors have been chasing for a while, with Agnes Tachyon and Manhattan Cafe officially set for rerelease.
For fans who missed these figures the first time around in 2024, this is the kind of merch update that actually matters. Both Nendoroids had become harder to find, and resale prices were climbing well above their original launch pricing. With Umamusume growing globally and both characters staying popular, that aftermarket situation was getting pretty brutal.
The rerelease is a straight reprint rather than a redesign, so what you’re getting is the same version collectors saw before. Each figure comes with three different face plates inspired by their in-game expressions.
Agnes Tachyon includes a test tube accessory, which fits her chaotic scientist energy perfectly. Manhattan Cafe, meanwhile, comes with a coffee mug. Both Nendoroids also use a display base styled after turf, a racetrack, and guard rail, so they lean nicely into the horse racing aesthetic of the series instead of feeling like generic chibi figures.
As for price, both figures will cost ¥6,900 each in Japan, with a September 2026 release window there. For the US market, Good Smile lists them at $40.99 each, with release currently expected in Q1 2027.
The worldwide part is important here. Good Smile confirmed these rereleases are returning beyond Japan, which is great news for collectors in Malaysia and the rest of SEA who usually end up dealing with one of two bad options: either paying inflated reseller prices, or gambling on late stock through hobby shops and marketplace sellers. A proper rerelease means a much better chance of securing them closer to retail, even if local final pricing will still depend on shipping, import costs, and shop markup.
There is one catch for anyone who buys through Amazon. While Good Smile’s Amazon storefront already lists some other Umamusume characters, Agnes Tachyon and Manhattan Cafe were not there yet at the time of the announcement. So if you’re hunting them down, it’s worth keeping an eye on the official Good Smile channels and major figure retailers instead of assuming Amazon will have them immediately.
Character-wise, both are relevant picks for the current Umamusume audience too. Agnes Tachyon has been in the game since launch as a two-star character, while Manhattan Cafe joined the worldwide version later, arriving in December 2025 as a three-star character. That gives both figures extra appeal now that more global players actually know who they are.
For SEA fans, this rerelease lands at a good time. The Umamusume: Pretty Derby game is available worldwide on PC and mobile, so the franchise is much easier to follow than it used to be, and the anime is also accessible on Crunchyroll and Amazon. If you got into the series through the global push and then realised the nicer merch was already out of print, this rerelease is basically your second chance.
Not every figure rerelease is exciting, but this one makes sense. Two popular characters, a franchise with more worldwide attention than before, and a chance to shut down absurd resale prices a bit. For collectors, bro, that’s already a win.
