Big Walk is a 2026 cooperative adventure video game developed by Australian studio House House and published by Panic Inc. It is an exploration-focused multiplayer game where players trek through an open-world bushland area and solve puzzles together. The game is built around cooperation, movement through a shared environment, and communication between players in different forms.
Gameplay
Big Walk is played as a multiplayer cooperative adventure game in which a group of players walk through an open-world environment. Groups can include two to twelve players in an online lobby, and the content adjusts based on the size of the group. Cross-platform play is supported. The lobby host keeps the save data, while other players can join or leave.
Each player controls a humanoid avatar with a segmented head, glowing eyes, a torso, and legs. The main objective is to complete puzzles, most of which involve teamwork. Many puzzles limit normal communication, including speech, so players use methods such as miming, singing, or transmitting codes. Sound is a recurring theme in several puzzles.
Completing puzzles rewards players with red or purple bulbous objects, with purple linked to harder puzzles. Solving a number of puzzles unlocks navigation features, including a map room, a train, and a ski lift that crosses half of the world. Accessibility features include text chat and the ability to skip puzzles that cannot be completed.
The game uses proximity chat, with voice volume changing based on player location. When players are separated, they can communicate by making noise, leaving messages on whiteboards, using walkie talkies, using static broadcast stations, or firing flare guns. A day-night cycle means players use torches and other light sources at night.
Setting
Big Walk takes place in an open-world bushland area that players explore together while travelling, solving puzzles, and finding ways to stay connected as a group.

Big Walk was released on 4 August 2026 for Windows, macOS, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5.
