Hades 2 Weapon Tier List — Full Release v1.0
Welcome to egg.network's Hades 2 weapon and aspect tier list. We rank every weapon-aspect combination available to Melinoë based on their performance across both the surface and underworld routes, from standard clears to high-heat endgame runs. Hades 2 expands on the original's weapon system with new Aspects that fundamentally change each weapon's playstyle, and our rankings reflect which combinations deliver the most consistent and powerful results.
Ranking Approach
Weapons are evaluated on their damage output, Omega Attack/Special scaling with boons, crowd control capability, defensive safety during boss fights, and synergy with the strongest boon combinations in the game. We weight high-heat viability heavily — a weapon that's fun at low heat but falls apart against tough modifiers scores lower than one that scales consistently. The Grasp system and Arcana Cards also influence rankings, as some weapons benefit disproportionately from specific card combinations.
Meta Breakdown
The Witch's Staff with the Aspect of Circe dominates the tier list thanks to its incredible range, strong Omega Attack for room clearing, and exceptional boon synergy — practically every god's boons work well with its versatile moveset. The Aspect of Circe's polymorph effect trivializes large enemy groups and provides safe DPS windows against bosses. Sister Blades with Artemis Aspect offer the highest single-target DPS in the game, with their rapid strikes proccing boon effects at an absurd rate and the Aspect's critical hit bonus shredding boss HP bars. The Moonstone Axe under the Aspect of Thanatos trades speed for devastating charged hits that one-shot most enemies — paired with the right Hermes boons to offset its slow swing speed, it becomes a room-clearing monster. Umbral Flames and Argent Skull occupy interesting niches in A and B tier — Flames excel with Hestia and Hephaestus boons for burn builds, while the Skull rewards players who master its lobbing trajectory with explosive area damage. The surface and underworld routes favor slightly different weapons, but S-tier options perform well on both.
