Methodology and Current Meta

This tier list reflects performance in Immortal+ lobbies and professional play as of Patch 10.0. We evaluate agents on their ability to create space, gather information, lock down sites, and control areas of the map. Versatility across multiple maps weighs heavily — agents who only shine on one or two maps are penalized compared to those who perform consistently everywhere.

The current meta heavily rewards information gathering and map control. Cypher's rework has cemented him as the premier Sentinel, with his trapwires and neural theft providing unmatched intel. Omen remains the most flexible Controller thanks to his paranoia and shrouded step enabling aggressive plays that other smokers can't match. Sova continues to be invaluable on most maps for his recon bolt lineups and drone scouting. Jett's dash and updraft still give her the best entry toolkit among Duelists, and Clove's self-revive and map-wide smokes make them a uniquely persistent threat across rounds.

Role Breakdown and Tips

Duelists: Jett leads the pack with her unmatched mobility and Operator synergy. Raze is close behind with her explosive area denial and satchel movement. Reyna is strong in ranked but falls off at coordinated play due to her selfish kit. Controllers: Omen and Viper are the safest picks — Omen for his flexibility, Viper for her wall and orb setups on maps like Breeze and Icebox. Astra rewards high-IQ players who can manage her stars under pressure. Sentinels: Cypher and Killjoy dominate site holds. Chamber has been adjusted repeatedly but still functions as a hybrid Sentinel-Duelist for Operator players. Initiators: Sova and Fade offer the best intel-gathering kits. Gekko's utility recall makes him resource-efficient across longer rounds, while KAY/O and Breach provide strong suppression and stun combos for coordinated team pushes.
