Welcome to egg.network's Wuthering Waves resonator tier list. We rank every playable resonator based on their performance in Tower of Adversity and overworld content. WuWa's swap-combo combat system means team composition matters as much as individual strength, so our rankings factor in both solo power and team synergy.

How We Rank

Resonators are evaluated on their damage ceiling, Forte Gauge efficiency, Intro/Outro Skill synergy, and Echo build flexibility. We pull data from endgame clears, community testing, and our own runs across all Tower of Adversity stages. Support and sub-DPS resonators are ranked based on how much they amplify team damage and how seamlessly they integrate into swap rotations.

Version 2.0 Meta Snapshot

The current meta rewards resonators with fast Forte rotations and strong Outro-to-Intro chains. Jinhsi dominates as the top DPS — her Incarnation mechanic allows her to deal massive Spectro damage during extended field time, and her Outro Skill buffs the next character's damage substantially. Changli's Fusion damage and near-instant swap windows make her the best sub-DPS in the game, fitting into almost any team. Shorekeeper has redefined healing — her Spectro support kit provides shields, healing, and a team-wide damage buff that makes Verina a secondary option for the first time. Camellya's Havoc damage from her Crimson Bud mechanic is exceptional with proper echo builds, and Roccia brings unique Havoc support with her Forte construction mechanics. The A-tier is stacked with strong resonators — Calcharo and Jiyan are devastating main DPS options for Electro and Aero teams respectively, while Yinlin and Zhezhi provide top-tier off-field damage that lets main carries shine.
