Apple Watch Ultra 4 Could Get A Big 2026 Redesign

Apple’s 2026 hardware roadmap is starting to look very premium, bro. According to a new report, the company may be preparing several “Ultra”-level products for next year — including a redesigned Apple Watch Ultra 4, a foldable iPhone Ultra, a MacBook Ultra, and AirPods Pro with cameras.

The most interesting one for everyday users might be the Apple Watch Ultra 4. DigiTimes reports that Apple’s next high-end smartwatch is expected to arrive in the second half of 2026 with what is described as a major redesign. The same report claims this refresh could help shipments grow by around 20% to 30% compared with similar 2025 levels.

That matters because the Watch Ultra line has always been Apple’s “serious user” model — bigger battery, tougher build, outdoor features, and a price tag that already makes Malaysian buyers think twice before clicking checkout. If Apple is really changing the design language in 2026, this could be more than just another yearly spec bump.

The report also points to a major upgrade for sensing features. Exact details were not shared, but the focus appears to be health tracking. Apple has reportedly been working on blood pressure and hypertension-related features, including a high blood pressure notification function that is currently not public because it is still going through FDA testing.

Glucose monitoring is also mentioned as a possible next step, though this would depend on government approval. That part is important for SEA readers: even when Apple launches a health feature globally, availability can vary by country due to local medical and regulatory rules. So Malaysian users should not assume every new sensor feature will be active here on day one.

Still, the direction is clear. Apple wants the Watch Ultra to be more than a rugged fitness watch. It is moving deeper into health monitoring, which could be useful for users who want passive alerts instead of only basic workout stats. For older users, athletes, or anyone tracking long-term health, better sensors would be a genuine upgrade — provided the feature rollout actually reaches our region.

The Watch Ultra 4 is not the only product reportedly lined up for Apple’s big 2026 push. Wccftech notes that Apple is also expected to launch its first foldable iPhone, currently being referred to as the iPhone Ultra, in fall 2026. If that happens, Apple would finally be entering a foldable market that Samsung, Honor, Huawei, Oppo, and others have already been building for years.

There is also talk of a MacBook Ultra arriving in the second half of 2026 with a touch-enabled OLED screen. That would be a major shift for MacBooks, especially if Apple finally leans into touch after years of keeping macOS and iPadOS workflows separate.

Then there are the camera-equipped AirPods Pro. These are reportedly in the design validation stage and could feed visual information to a newer Siri. The idea is that Siri would better understand what is around you, helping with object-related questions, more personal reminders, and more detailed navigation guidance.

For Malaysia and SEA, the big question is price versus usefulness. Apple’s Ultra branding usually means premium features, but also premium damage to wallet. If these devices land with strong health tools, better AI features, and genuinely new form factors, Apple fans here will pay attention. But if the regional feature rollout is slow, many buyers may be better off waiting before upgrading.

Either way, 2026 is shaping up to be a serious Apple hardware year — and the Apple Watch Ultra 4 could be one of the clearest signs of where the ecosystem is heading next.
