Xbox Game Pass is ending May 2026 with quite a stacked drop, and for Malaysian players trying to stretch every ringgit of gaming value, this batch is worth checking properly.

The headline act is Forza Horizon 6, which arrives as the biggest Game Pass release for the month. But the second wave is not just carried by racing alone. Microsoft’s subscription lineup is also getting Luna Abyss, Remnant 2, Jurassic World Evolution 3, Final Fantasy VI, and The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition, among others.

For SEA players, this is the kind of Game Pass month that makes the subscription feel useful again: one big first-party-style showcase title, a co-op shooter for the Discord squad, some JRPG nostalgia, and a park management game for people who want dinosaurs instead of ranked stress.

What’s coming to Game Pass

Here’s the full schedule from the May 2026 second batch:

  • Forza Horizon 6 — May 19 — Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC — Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • Dead Static Drive — May 20 — Cloud, Console, PC — Ultimate, PC Game Pass, now also on Premium
  • My Friend Peppa Pig — May 20 — Cloud, Console, PC — Premium, Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • Pigeon Simulator — May 20 — Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC — Ultimate, PC Game Pass, now also on Premium
  • Remnant 2 — May 20 — Cloud, Console, PC — Premium, Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • Winter Burrow — May 20 — Cloud, Console, PC — Ultimate, PC Game Pass, now also on Premium
  • Luna Abyss — May 21 — Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC — Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • Escape Simulator — May 26 — Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC — Premium, Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • Echo Generation 2 — May 27 — Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC — Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition — May 27 — Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC — Premium, Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • Crashout Crew — May 28 — Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC — Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • Kabuto Park — May 28 — Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC — Premium, Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • Final Fantasy VI — June 2 — Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC — Premium, Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • Jurassic World Evolution 3 — June 2 — Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC — Premium, Ultimate, PC Game Pass

The neat part here is the variety. Remnant 2 is still the obvious “call the boys tonight” pick, especially if your group likes tough co-op fights and loot chasing. Luna Abyss is the newer shooter to watch, while Final Fantasy VI continues the rollout of classic Final Fantasy games after I-V.

Meanwhile, Jurassic World Evolution 3 landing on June 2 is a strong one for players who prefer slower, management-style games. Not every Game Pass drop needs to be sweaty multiplayer, bro.

Premium players get a bit more value

A few games are also shifting down from being Ultimate-only into Game Pass Premium access. That includes Winter Burrow, Dead Static Drive, and Pigeon Simulator. If you are not on the highest tier, this matters because it gives Premium subscribers more to play without needing to upgrade immediately.

That said, Game Pass is also losing five games on May 31, 2026. The source notes that several of those outgoing titles are well-liked, so if you are subscribed, it is worth checking the leaving-soon section before the end of the month.

Overall, this is a solid month rather than a flawless one. Forza Horizon 6 is the big flex, but the real strength is how spread out the lineup is across racing, shooting, RPGs, co-op, simulation, and family-friendly stuff. For Malaysian players juggling Steam sales, console prices, and monthly subs, that variety is exactly why Game Pass can still make sense.
