TODAK Announce Major Roster Overhaul Ahead of MPL MY Season 14
Out With the Old, In With the New
TODAK have confirmed sweeping roster changes ahead of MPL Malaysia Season 14, parting ways with jungler CikuGais and mid laner Ryzen following their Grand Finals defeat to Selangor Red Giants in Season 13.
Key Signings
Moon (Jungler) — from RRQ Hoshi
The Indonesian jungler was one of the most sought-after free agents in the region. Known for his aggressive invade-heavy playstyle, Moon brings a completely different dimension to TODAK's previously conservative approach.
"We needed someone who could dictate the tempo of the game from the jungle," said TODAK head coach Zane. "Moon does that better than anyone in Southeast Asia."
Zeph (Mid Lane) — promoted from TODAK Academy
19-year-old Zeph has been tearing up the amateur circuit, and TODAK believe he's ready for the big stage. His hero pool is impressively deep, with 强 performances on both mage and assassin picks.
Remaining Roster
The core of TODAK remains intact:
- 4Meyz (Gold Lane) — team captain and consistent carry
- AJ (EXP Lane) — veteran presence and shotcaller
- Yier (Roamer) — among the 最佳 roamers in MPL MY
Coach Zane's Vision
"Season 13 showed us that we can't just match Selangor blow for blow in the late game," Zane explained. "With Moon, we're building a team that wins games in the first eight minutes. If we can snowball early, no team in Malaysia can stop us."
Fan Reaction
The moves have been met with excitement from the TODAK faithful, with #TODAKNewEra trending on Malaysian Twitter within hours of the announcement. The pressure is now on to deliver results when MPL MY S14 kicks off on April 11.
